L'agriturismo Pane e Vino esistente dal 1990 al Gabbro, oltre ad essere una struttura ricettiva, si è qualificato nel 1997 come Fattoria Didattica.
Sabrina e Gino, i titolari, accompagnano i bambini in un percorso di conoscenza ed osservazione degli animali e delle coltivazioni, evidenziando l'interscambio esistente fra queste due attività, insegnando loro lo stretto rapporto che esiste fra il cavallo e l'oliveto, fra il pollaio e l'orto, nell'ambito di un'azienda biologica, che ha come obbiettivo primario la realizzazione di coltivazioni ed allevamenti sicuri dal punto di vista alimentari.
All'interno del casolare si trova un laboratorio per lo studio e la lavorazione delle fibre animali (lana e seta), le attività didattiche che includono un percorso teorico-pratico sono condotte dall'operatore specializzato Michela Pircher.
I programmi prevedano la creazione, da parte dei bambini, di un manufatto che rimane loro come ricordo della giornata.
Il laboratorio è attrezzato con diversi telai, macchinetta cardatrice, filatoio e tutto ciò che serve per trasformare la lana tosata della pecora fino al tessuto finito.
Nel laboratorio vi sono inoltre semplici attrezzi che permettono ai bambini di lavorare manualmente divertendosi a trasformare le colorate falde di lana in feltro.
Laboratorio delle tinture naturali:
la natura ed i suoi colori ci permettono di colorare tessuti, pareti, fare quadri e tante altre cose, si utilizzano piante, terre ed animaletti. Nel nostro laboratorio scoprirete come.
